Back in the routine...

Things seem to be getting back to normal around here. Fletcher has been to school three times and is tolerating it well. We are still walking around the building every morning and he just loves it! Yesterday he fell asleep in his wheelchair while we were out! I talked with the nurse practitioner today and she told me all of Fletcher's electrolytes are in the safe range. Praise the Lord! He seems to be proving everyone wrong if you ask me! Way to go Fletcher!

Ms. DeLisa and Fletcher back at school!

So sleepy!

Maddie has been reading like crazy the last few days. It's so exciting to see her enjoying books! Today after school she took all the books out of one of her book baskets and sat and read for about an hour. She took a book to Sam's today and to church tonight. She couldn't wait to read Green Eggs and Ham to her daddy. I bet she's reading on at least a first grade level, which I think is pretty awesome since she's five years old!

Empty book basket!

Green Eggs and Ham with Daddy!

Kayleigh has started softball. She's playing on a new team this year, the Show Stoppers. Hopefully she will have fun and meet some new friends, get some exercise and fresh air! We love going to the ballpark and watching her play. It's a great time for our family. It is going to keep her busy though. She's already been to practice about 4 times! The round robins will be on March 24th. Last year she played catcher and she's not sure that she wants to do that this year. So we'll see. Kayleigh's also busy getting ready for CRT (state testing).

Well, that's all for now. It's getting late and I'm getting tired! Have a good night!

I am glad Blogger is letting me leave a comment now. I don't know why - it's just not let me leave them on random sites while others were fine. :( It is SO GOOD to hear such a wonderful update on Fletcher! You have had such a long hard winter. The pictures of maddie almost made me want to cry. My littlest was right there just a year ago and I am feeling so NOSTALIAC lately. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO GROW UP???? UGH! It's hard.
