Today when I was getting Fletcher dressed and ready for the day I noticed some suspicious bumps on his lower abdomen. He would cry if I touched them. One of the nurse practitioners came and took a look at them and Fletcher has shingles! UGH! Poor little guy! I know that shingles are painful. He was grumpier than he's been in two weeks. They have started him on some medication and tomorrow he will be on an IV medication for the shingles. I don't know a whole lot about shingles and I'm praying that they won't compromise any of his other health issues. Fletcher has had two really good weeks and it has helped us to not dwell on the negative. We'd really appreciate your prayers.

Denise..Shingles are caused by the same virus as chicken pox. Poor Baby Fletcher! Hopefully they will go away soon!
First of all...GREAT pictures! Hey, I'd love to hear your love story. When did you get married?
Also, they are doing enrollment for next school year already? I called a couple of months ago and they laughed at me because it was way too early. Eeek! I thought I had more time.
Nee Nee I know you have been a blessing in Kayleighs life just as you are for Maddie and Fletcher. I wish I could see your babies. Your life has changed so very much since we transfered from Oklahoma. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayer you and your entire family. Love to all Jacque
ohhh I remember your beautiful wedding and thinking how happy I was for you and Craig and Kayleigh! I was looking back at our wedding pics and she and Erin looked so little in their cute polka dot dresses that day! Time flies! You are such a great mommy and friend! I hate that Bubba has shingles, that really stinks! Give him love from me!
Love you!
Millie
These pictures are so fun! Don't you love looking back at your babies? Praying Fletcher heals quickly from the shingles. My dad had them about 10 years ago, but I don't think it was very bad.
This is on my to-do list this spring too - to go through old pictures. I've never had them organized, so the kids can't really enjoy them like I'd like to see them do.
I am SOOOOOO thankful Fletcher does not have RSV!!! I have had friends whose kids got it and I know it goes on a lot up at the center. Rough stuff! On the flip side, I am sorry to hear about the shingles. I have never fully understood what they are, but I've always understood them to be quite painful. :(
I hope Spring comes soon and takes all the "yucky stuff" with it!
Those are sweet pictures and memories.
Is everything OK? You haven't posted in a while. Hope you're doing well.
