Update

Fletcher is still in the PICU at Baptist. He is better but he is still struggling. He is very agitated and fussy. Today they started him on morphine to help calm him. There are some things going on with Fletcher that I just can't blog about right now, but just know that he is very sick and he needs prayer. I will update later when I have more information. Thanks so much for praying we really need it. I took this picture tonight while he was sleeping.

A friend of mine forwarded me a copy of your friend Michelle's email. I read some of your blog and have been so touched by your love for God, your family, and of course, your amazing little boy. Although I don't know you, I want you to know I'm praying for you all.

My Sweet Niece,
I love you so much and I am so blessed by you and Craig. God's strength is made know through our weakness. Everytime you share about a weak moment I know a power surge of God's Love will come through to strengthen you. Your comfort is not just yours it is ours too...those of us who are witnessing your highs ans lows. Your struggles have become our struggles and have brought us to our knees in ways me have never approached the throne of grace before. Immanuel (God is with us)

Oh, Denise, I haven't been on my blog at all in almost a week. I am so sorry to hear Fletcher is having such a difficult time. I try to pray for him regularly now, but I will add these specifics to my prayers.

Romans 8:26
the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Denise...I got the email about Fletcher from my cousin Angie. Pleae know that we're praying and asking God to hold him (and your whole sweet family) in His loving hands. I'm so sorry--I wish there was something I could do. Big hugs. And big prayers!
